LUMBER

I use a wide variety of domestic, tempered and reclaimed woods to build my guitars.

Necks are generally built from quarter sawn roasted hard rock Maple.

Most bodies are made out of Alder, Ash or Mahogany, but 100-year-old reclaimed Fir has been a favorite, when available, for its dense resonant tone and unique textured grain.

Each build is unique.  Close attention is paid to bring out the best feel, playability and tonal characteristics of chosen materials.
